![]() Whatever i do, the mod still does not work (as in, my species does not appear in game), and tells me to check my files and credentials when i am trying to upload it. It was 2016 and i think it was written in the mod tutorial in stellaris wiki or something to have two files. Probably need to note that i made my mod with two. Checking forums, finding this thread, trying to fiddle with both. It is a species mod so its easy to notice right at the new game screen. I have some other versions of my mod in the 'mod' folder but only use one, which is the one uploaded (the main mod).Īfter the update i started the new launcher, found my mod there, activated it and launched the game itself. I am subscribed to several mods (not sure if that is an important details or not so i'll add it) but only use my own mod that was also uploaded to steam workshop. My experience is as such (hopefully it will help or at least give a clue of some sort, idk). See this, a little change but a very relevant one, you will know if you can play ironman/multiplayer by just a fast gaze. How would i fix this? Creating at least 2 subcategories, "Vanilla" gameplay (with graphics mods or non-game altering mods activated) and "Modded" gameplay, with each group having the different tag of mod perfectly defined (maybe below the mod name, as tags sepparated by "," )Īlso, maybe creating different profile slots for mod packs? We need a way to create profiles for a fast, better experience of mod adjusting, as stellaris games usually takes more than one season to be completed, and sometimes we have various games being played at the same time. You can´t see what kind cathegory tag is the mod you are activating (gameplay, graphics, etc) so you can really, really mess up with multiplayer/ironman experience if you just let by error one activated.Hey, just tried the new launcher, and while it is beautiful and accesible, it get tedious for mod managing, and specially mod makers.
